| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | | The constant 12V (memory) wire is not connected. | Ensure the "Battery" or "Memory" wire on the radio's harness is correctly connected to a constant 12V source in your vehicle. | | Radio has no bass / only treble works | This can be a hardware failure or a misconfigured audio setting. | First, check the unit's audio settings (Bass, Loudness). If settings are correct, this could indicate an internal hardware problem, as reported in some user experiences. | | Unit powers off when key is removed (but also loses memory) | This is normal for the power-off behavior but confirms the memory wire issue mentioned above. | This is not a malfunction if the radio turns off. The issue is the loss of memory, not the radio turning off. See the first entry. | | Cannot eject CD or panel is stuck | A mechanical obstruction or jam in the loading mechanism. | Do not force the panel. Ensure no discs are partially inserted. For a stuck operation panel, do not attempt to close it with a disc or card partially ejected, as this can cause damage. |
